By now you must have guessed that this is a haul post. I got the package delivered to me within 2 days so yeah, pretty happy with Nykaa service and Nykaa discounts. I am always excited to receive a parcel. Its like opening a gift (*from me to me). Well, the excitement level is not so much when I have to pay the bills 😛 . So, I did get their free pouch which you get if you spend 3500 and if I remember correctly it was 2500 last time. On top of that it is smaller this time. Also, I liked the previous one more. I also got a Maybelline The Colossal Kajal – Black free. This again is of no use to me currently. My current routine does not involve a kajal. Anyway, moving beyond the free stuff.

I was eyeing certain items for long and sale is just the right time to grab them. So here is the list of products that I bought along with their prices post discount and link.

1. Kaya Brightening & Firming Eye Serum – Rs.842

It contains a synergetic active complex of soy and rice peptides, yeast protein, hyaluronic acid and seaweed extract. This potent combination targets puffiness and discoloration and enhances firmness around the eyes.

 

A lot of people have recommended this to me, so I am finally going to give this one a try.

2. Maybelline Fashion Brow Duo Shaper – Rs.270
Shade – Brown

It is a double effect pen. It has a micro lead pen side which is a creamy pen for easy control and precise till tail application. The other side is the mineral powder side which is for natural softened fluffy look.

I already have this one in the shade grey. I religiously use this product. It is so handy, easy to use and quick that I just grab it, wush-wush and I am done with my eyebrows. Its like a magic wand 😀 .

3. Maybelline Dream Satin Skin Two Way Cake Foundation – Rs.510
Shade – PO3 Sandy Smooth

It is sure to give you a healthy and matte finish, along with protection from harsh sun rays. Provides a non cakey and oil free finish. It also protects skin from sun with SPF 30+.

For days when I want to go light and say no to foundation or BB cream, I just grab this and I am good to go.

4. Avene Cleanance Mask – Rs.1188

It claims to erase, eliminate impurities and tighten pores. It is Paraben-free.

Deep cleansing : When used as a scrub, it gently eliminates skin imperfections with its AHA and BHA complex combined with exfoliating particles. Skin tone becomes clearer and skin becomes smoother.

Matifying : The soft clay absorbs the excess sebum. Combined with Glyceryl laurate which regulates the hyper-production of sebum, it leaves the skin shine-free.

However, this will be my first encounter with Avene and I am hoping for the best of results.

5. Revlon Super Lustrous Leather Collection Lipstick – Rs.539
Shade – I’m Bubbly

It is a lightweight matte lip colour, and glides effortlessly across lips.

What it claims –

• It’s got a smooth matte formula that sets within seconds of application.
• Formulated with silk-enriched mega-moisturisers and vitamins, this lipstick keeps your lips soft and supple.
• Keeps your lips hydrated for long hours.

I loveeed the shade. It is actually girly bubbly pink. But as per my first impression with this, I did not like the texture and coverage that much.

6. L’Oreal Paris Hydrafresh Deep Boosting Essence – 582

A moisture-boosting anti-aging essence with a soft gel texture that dissolves gently into the skin. Developed with Triple Hyaluronic Acid Technology plus Pure Mineral SPA Water helps deliver hydration to multiple layers of the skin while retaining moisture. Contains delicate beads enriched with antioxidant Vitamin E to shield skin from free radicals. Unveils a fresher and younger looking complexion.

I have already used their hydrafresh anti-shine before and I really liked it. It actually gives me a matte finish. But it also gives me a tingly sensation around my nose area so I thought of trying this instead.

7. Batiste Dry Shampoo Instant Hair Refresh Clean & Classic Original – 584

Batiste refreshes your hair between washes, leaving it feeling gorgeously clean and fresh with added Body and texture. You can use this on the days between washes to quickly refresh your hair. In the morning before work. If you are running short of time or just want and extra half an hour in bed.When your hair has gone a bit limp during the day and it needs a quick perk up. Its also great for use as a styling aid as it adds texture and grip.

So this will be my first dry shampoo. Considering that I am an oily beast I should have started using dry shampoos way earlier. But as they say, better late than never.

8. L’Oreal Paris Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner – 518
Shade – Cobalt Blue

What it claims – Our smudge-proof formula lasts for up to 16-hours of intense color from dusk until dawn.

It comes in 7 beautiful colors – Gold, Plum, Silver, Black, Charcoal, Cobalt Blue, True Teal.

First impression – It is actually pretty silky smooth. I applied a little pressure and broke a tiny part from the tip 😦 . But it is such a pretty color ❤ ❤ .

9. QVS Eye Smudger – 239

you can achieve a smokey eye look or blend different eye shadows with it. It has a long handle that allows perfect grip to hold. Soft and dense bristles. It sports a bevelled tip, made from fine textured sponge.

This is my first time with the QVS brand. Have not even opened it yet so no first impressions. But I am definitely excited to use it.
