Kaya Brightening and Firming Eye Serum Review

I know a lot of you wanted the review of Kaya Brightening and Firming Eye Serum when you checked out my Nykaa haul, Click Here in case you want to check that out. So I had to first use it for a while to say anything about it. In the first week I did not see major changes but it’s been almost a month now that I have been using Kaya Brightening and Firming Eye Serum. And now I am here to share the results so far with you beauties :-* :-*

What they claim – It contains a synergetic active complex of soy and rice peptides, yeast protein, hyaluronic acid and seaweed extract. This potent combination targets puffiness and discoloration and enhances firmness around the eyes.

How I apply – I take a drop of the Kaya Brightening and Firming Eye Serum on my ring finger. Dab both the ring fingers together and then dab it ever so gently on my under eye area. Whatever is left of it, I apply to my lids. A drop is more than enough and hence it will last a long time. I apply it twice a day post cleansing my face.

Color & pigmentation – Kaya Brightening and Firming Eye Serum is translucent and not at all pigmented.

Texture – It is very light weight. You won’t feel as if something is sitting on your skin. It is neither too thick nor too thin.

Fragrance – None as such

Packaging & Quantity – Kaya Brightening and Firming Eye Serum comes in a cute white small metal bottle, with a pull up cap and then a dropper. So it is quite sturdy and perfect for travelling. My heart sank when I saw the bottle and then the product inside.You just get 10ml of product in that comparatively bigger bottle. But it lasted me a whole month and is still there.

Price – Rs.990 (I got it on discount from nykaa.com for Rs.842)

Final

I heard a lot about Kaya Brightening and Firming Eye Serum and hence bought it. I wasn’t expecting for a miracle though but in a month’s application it has reduced the darkness. The darkness in the inner corners is still there but is more red than black now. The middle and outer part seem lighter. Overall, it has brightened up my under eye area.

It feels a little stretchy when the serum is drying out but I guess that’s the firming formula on to its work. It is not uncomfortable whatsoever and dries out quickly. I do feel my eye area is a little firmer than before. However, it doesn’t do much for my puffiness and whatever fine lines I saw earlier, I can still see them. But no new visible lines have appeared so far.

I am terribly dark under eye circles and nothing has worked for me.I have tried a lot of products to reduce the dark circles but nothing seems to work.From the pics it seems like it has reduced the darkness to a large extent.Feels like it is a great product.Would definitely try it out.Thanks for sharing it.

      Well, I would not say to a large extent. May be in the long run it would. But yes, it has considerably reduced the darkness. And if you apply religiously you will surely see the results in a month’s time.
