Hey my beauties,
This is the first time I will be reviewing any foundation on my blog. So I am pretty excited about it. If you are wondering what is Studiowest, it is the beauty range of Westside 😀 😀 It is actually good and pretty affordable. I have tried few other things too and they turned out to be nice.
Sorry for the dirty cap 😛
How I apply – Take 2 pumps of Studiowest Pure Passion Foundation on the back of my hand. Warm it up with clean finger and apply dots all over my face. Dab it with my brush and then brush it downwards. Then in circular motions blend all of it. Build it up if required.
Coverage – Sheer to medium.
Shade – 02 Honey
Stay – Studiowest Pure Passion Foundation stays 4-5 hours without primer.
Texture – Medium to thick. It does not go runny at the back of your hand.
Fragrance – Studiowest Pure Passion Foundation has a very mild fragrance. Nothing that would bother.
Packaging & Quantity – It comes in a black rectangular carton (which I threw 😐 ) . The good thing is that the tube is with a pump (me likey – convenient and hygenic). It is a matte black tube and has small black glossy stripes all over. The cap is transparent plastic and clicks back well. So this is certainly travel friendly. You get 30 ml of product.
Price – Rs. 550
Studiowest Pure Passion Foundation gives a sheer to medium coverage. However, you can build it up as desired. The stay is pretty average. I think the shade is custom made for Indian skin tone. So you might just find your right shade. It merges well and gives a smooth matte finish. I have pretty oily skin and this starts oxidising on me post half day without primer which I absolutely dislike. Although it is a good everyday foundation but I would like to explore more.
MM love – 3.5
