Nykaa Black Magic Liquid Eyeliner Super Black 01 Review

I love applying eyeliners. Yup! I do! And the fact that I have hooded eyes has completely no down effect on my love for eyeliners. I mean if I draw a bold liner, my lids literally hide behind it.Yet, I still love applying them. I try to look at the positive side though. See, I think they act as saviour in certain sense. If I draw a thick liner and just do my crease, I am good to go. I can skip the eyeshadow on lid 😉 😉 Voila!! 😀 😀 Yes, I like to see the brighter side of the things 😛 😛

And on days when I feel like wearing proper eye makeup I just apply a thin liner so that more of the eye makeup is visible 😉 😛

By now everyone who reads my blog posts know that I am looking for a good black liquid eyeliner. Hence, I buy the new affordable launches that I can.

Let’s find out how this one went.

What they claim – A bold release that packs a punch in just one swipe. Nykaa’s Black Magic Eyeliner is all you need to get your best eyes on. What’s great about this product is its melt, crack and run resistant properties. This refined liner glides perfectly across the lash line for a gorgeous fluid application, leaving you looking super sensational!

This eyeliner is dermatologically tested.
It has water resistant and high-pigment properties and is completely smudge proof.
It stays upto 10 hours.
This refined brush is perfect for easy application.

How I apply – Shake well. Open and wipe of the excess from the brush with the edge of the bottle. Start from the inner corner and apply a thin line by following natural lash line. Draw a wing with whatever is left on the brush. Dip in for more and build up as desired.

Color & pigmentation – Nykaa Black Magic Liquid Eyeliner is super pigmented, just one stroke is enough to see that amazing black color. But you all know I like to go about it in small strokes 😀

Shade – Super Black 01

Stay – Nykaa Black Magic Liquid Eyeliner does what it says. This thing did not move from its place. Even when I touched it with my finger, it did not smudge 😀 😀

Texture – It is of course liquid and quite runny. Dries to a semi matte finish. It does have that slight sheen to it (I so wish it was completely matte 😐 😐 )

Transfer – Once dried, Nykaa Black Magic Liquid Eyeliner does not budge, does not smudge. Transfer proof it is 😀 😀

Packaging & Quantity – The packaging is something I really liked. The outer cardboard rectangular box is red with slight pinks and has everything written in black. The body of the liner is all matte black and the name is written in shiny silver on body, looks pretty classy. At the bottom you could find the number and shade. You get 5 ml of product.

Applicator – It is longer and thicker than the usual ones we have in the market but the tip is so thin. It makes the application FLAWLESS. Yes, it does.

I love this little baby and I am so glad I bought it. Nykaa Black Magic Liquid Eyeliner does not budge or smudge and stays on your eyes throughout the day. No cracking or melting encountered. It settles to a semi matte finish but has that sheen. Mind you, it is water resistant and not water proof (Just like iPhone7 😛 😛 ). Actually this is also something that makes me like it even more. Because of this property it is so convenient and hassle free to remove and gentle on eyes. It is very light weight, you won’t even remember you are wearing any liner. It dries of pretty quick and does not fade through the day. Also I loved the packaging and the applicator. It makes the application super easy. Hope they will be out with more shades. They have already rolled out other kajal and liner variants 🙂
