BB creams have been in the market from longer than what we can imagine. But it only started doing the rounds in western market from somewhere around 2012. Yet for people who aren’t aware of the concept I’d like to throw some light on it. BB stands for beauty balm, beauty benefit, blemish balm, blemish base etc. It basically consists of skin pleasing contents and gives you a my skin but better look. If you follow me on Instagram you would have seen my check-ins wearing just this BB cream and giving you a closer look of how it actually looks on me. To sum it up SUGAR Goddess of Flawless BB Cream is definitely ultra-lightweight and super blendable. It feels a little slimy initially while applying but it settles to a beautiful matte finish. It can cling on to your dry patches so remember to moisturise properly. It also oxidised a bit on me but not so much that I would go for the lighter shade. It provides a sheer coverage which is more like my skin but better look. This is perfect for that no makeup makeup look. And goes on easily for 5-6 hours.
The good part is that it contains SPF30+ protection. It claims to give you that sweat-free face but since it is winters here in Delhi I can’t really comment on that. The pricing is a little steep for a BB cream but I totally love how it looks on me. This product is free from parabens, oil and mineral oil. But it does not claim anywhere to have anti-aging ingredients or to help even out skin tone. Isn’t that mandatory for a BB cream? Anyway, I like the all black and matte tube packaging. Its so convenient to use plus it looks classy.
