Do you realise what toners do for our skin? Do you know they balance the pH of our skin and help in controlling acne (well the minor ones) ? Also, they help in removing dead skin cells (toners with glycolic acid) which further helps in preventing ingrown hair. Yesssss!!! All of this can be achieved with just one single product. TONER!!!
So let’s move on with today’s review of one such product.

How I apply – Take some product on palm, rub your hands together. Tap on the face avoiding eyes and lips. Let it air dry and then apply serum/moisturiser. Another way to apply is to pour it on a cotton swab and swipe your face with it in upward outward direction. I generally do it the first way.
Color – Plum Green Tea Alcohol Free Toner is completely translucent and looks like water.
Texture – Runny and watery.
Fragrance – Mild. Nothing that would bother.
Ingredients – Aqua, Glycerin, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor oil, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Sodium Gluconate, Phenoxyethanol, Glycolic acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Fragrance
Packaging & Quantity – Plum Green Tea Alcohol Free Toner comes in a white plastic bottle with the usual green plum text on it. You can completely screw open the cap(not required). However, for daily use you can press to open the cap. This did not work really well for me while travelling though. The lid must have been pressed by some other product in the bag and it completely drained out *sob sob. You get 200 ml of product.
Price – Rs. 390
Plum Green Tea Alcohol Free Toner really worked for me. For reference, I have an oily acne prone skin. It is very lightweight, looks and feels like water. Gives a cool calming sensation when applied. I usually splash it and not wipe off with a cotton ball. The Glycolic acid helps weed out dead cells which gives you smoother and fresher skin with continuous use. The green tea extracts helps with the acne, not the cystic ones though. It does not dry the skin either. With continuous usage I noticed that my skin got clearer and smoother. Also, it is 100% alcohol free.
