Hey there, I’m Mariana
First things first—I’m not going to pretend I have it all figured out. I’m a thirty-something former corporate worker bee who decided that life is too short not to live deliberately. So here I am, navigating life’s twists and turns while sharing what I learn along the way.
By day, I work as a content strategist (a fancy way of saying I help businesses tell their stories). By night—and early mornings, weekends, and whenever inspiration strikes—I’m here, building this little corner of the internet.
My Journey
Five years ago, I found myself sitting in my car during lunch breaks, crying because I felt so disconnected from my purpose. I had the checklist life—degree, career, apartment in the city—but something essential was missing. That realization kicked off what I now affectionately call my “beautiful unraveling.”
Since then, I’ve:
- Left a job that looked good on paper but felt wrong in my soul
- Started therapy and confronted patterns that weren’t serving me
- Developed a meditation practice (imperfect but consistent)
- Moved to a smaller city where I can actually afford to breathe
- Built a career that aligns with my values and natural gifts
I’ve also:
- Stayed in bed for three days straight when depression hit hard
- Forgotten to water my plants until they resembled tumbleweed
- Sent embarrassing texts to an ex at 2 AM
- Bought self-help books I never finished
Because that’s the whole truth of personal growth—it’s never linear, and it’s certainly not perfect.
What You’ll Find Here
This blog is where I share:
Honest reflections on everything from productivity to relationships to mental health. I promise to show you the messy middle, not just the polished end result.
Practical tools that have actually worked for me—morning routines that stick, journaling prompts that unlock insights, and small habits that create big shifts.
Book deep-dives because I’m a firm believer that the right book at the right time can change everything.
Conversations with people who inspire me—not just the ones with impressive credentials, but the everyday heroes who are living with intention and purpose.
My Philosophy
I believe we’re all works in progress, and that’s not just okay—it’s the whole point. Growth isn’t about reaching some mythical destination where you’ve “made it”; it’s about becoming more awake and alive to your own life.
I believe in being gentle with yourself while still challenging yourself to evolve.
I believe the small, daily choices we make shape who we become far more than grand gestures or dramatic life changes.
And I believe that sharing our stories—the real, unfiltered versions—helps all of us feel less alone in our struggles and more inspired in our journeys.

btw, its almost fall and that’s a good reason to start this blog 🙂
